Magnetic Tapes consists of an extruded plastic impregnated with Barium Ferrite glued to a stainless steel tape using a special type of glue. This stainless steel tape provides the rigidity to the magnetic tape. The special glue makes sure that the thermal expansion coefficient of the glued tape is same as stainless steel tape.
Magna Slim is a contact less magnetic measurement system, easy to install and highly resistant to oil, dust, dirt and vibrations, making it suitable for use under harshest of conditions. The system consists of a magnetic tape, its aluminium carrier profile. This low profile system can be installed in compact spaces.
Magna S1 and S2 are open type contactless encoders specially designed for harshest environments of machine tool industry.Robust with IP67 rating, optimized mounting dimension for compact spaces, these encoders are preferred choices for standard milling machines, lathe machines, grinders and HBM.
