Magnetic linear scales

All of our magnetic coding software comply with EIA422 standards and implement full differential coding connections and screen cables to ensure the best possible noise immunity. With a precision of 0.5um and a precision of up to 5um, they can easily match the optical scales of most CNC, automation and CNC machine tools applications.

Our linear magnetic coding uses precision magnetic tape either 1mm, 2mm or 5mm thick depending on the desired level of performance. The tape is made of a coded nitrile rubber material linked with a stainless steel tape with an additional stainless steel cover. This combination does not require optical sensing and is therefore liquid and dustless, making it ideal for machine tool applications, automation, and manufacturing.

MG232 Magna Magnetic Encoder

Product Description:
The MG232 Enclosed high-speed linear encoders offer ease of installation and unsurpassed robustness to oil, dust, and coolants as it comprises of IP 67 protection class. Ideally suited for shop floor and the dirty environment they can be used as a direct alternative to linear optical encoders.
It provides the user the benefits of both, ease of mounting of the optical encoder with the robustness of the magnetic measuring system, also provides measuring from 150 lengths up to 3040 mm. Available in 1m and 5m resolutions for Machine tool application, available in 0.5m and 0.1m resolutions for Profile Projector application.
