Magnetic Encoders System
The MDM22
magnetic encoder module consists of an encoder body and a magnetic holder. The
magnet holder is inserted into the rotating shaft and the encoder body in front
of the magnet holder. Sensors in the body sense rotating magnets and provide up
to 14-bit absolute and incremental output per revolution.
It offers a
very fast IP68 robustness that provides the ideal encoder design for
applications in harsh environments.
Remarkable
feature of Magnetic Encoders System
- 22mm modular encoder with magnetic holder
- It operates on a 5V power supply.
- Supports various outputs such as analog Sin-Cos output, Incremental RS422, Absolute SSI and BiSS-C protocols
- Supports up to 14 bits per revolution (16384 positions) Absolute and incremental outputs
- Accuracy +/- 0.5 °
- High-speed operation up to 20000 rpm at the highest resolution
- 3600 CPR for easy angular resolution for mathematical calculations
